Our Mission is to Sustain an Animal’s Hope during Life’s Transitions.

Our Vision

  • To provide a safe, secure and loving home for unwanted, neglected, or abused sheep, cats, rabbits and Australian Shepherds.
  • To help maintain quality of life for animals facing end-of-life times.
  • To assist people and their pets so that their relationship can remain stable.
  • To support the transition back to a stable living arrangement for the pets of people in the recovery phase of injury or illness.

Our Values

We believe:

  • that the relationship between animals and their people is sacred and is worth working to preserve.
  • that no animal is expendable and that causing any animal pain and suffering either for human gain or the expediency of the moment is inexcusable.
  • that each animal is a unique individual who can communicate with another, including humans; who has an emotional life that includes joy, commitment, playfulness, pain, fear, and anxiety; who learns new information and behaviors, and who solves problems.
  • that, given emotional and physical supportive care in a stress-free environment, animals who have experienced trauma will heal and will fully embrace a joy-filled,  life.
  • that helping preserve relationships ~ between animals and humans just as between humans and humans ~ relies on communication and on taking the time to learn how species-specific behaviors reflect anxiety, pain, fear, loneliness ~ as well as joy, love, and devotion.
