Sanctuary is safety. It’s a forever home where all your needs are met, where you are safe, and where your very presence brings joy to others. The animal sanctuary at Sundance Rescue and Recovery provides this space to sheep, cats, rabbits, and Australian Shepherds who are unwanted. Aiding Pets & People – Keeping Pets & People Together, Forever

Supporting the strong bonds between people and their pets can take many forms. For some, it means building ramps for a senior dog, or raising a water dish so a senior person doesn’t need to bend down to fill it. For others, it means providing the needed materials for newly born kittens whose mom has been killed.  At Sundance Rescue and Recovery, we are dedicated to creatively finding solutions that maintain the relationship between a human and their pet.

Education – Heal the Earth

Healing the Earth and balancing all life on her begins with learning ~ learning about what the Earth is, learning about what life needs, learning about who’s done what, when and why. To heal and balance, though, also requires self-recognition ~ recognizing what you do and what impact that action has on life; recognizing what beliefs you hold and where they come from; and recognizing whether you live what you believe.  These are not easy paths for any of us, but at Sundance Rescue and Recovery, we believe that when we walk them together, we’re much strong than when we walk them alone.
