Our vision for Sundance R&R is big…tremendously exciting, but … really big. I want to help the animals of people who are suffering! I want to offer long-term boarding for free to those who need a place! I want to rescue the farm animals who would die unloved and hurting in horrible places! I want at least 400 acres to take in all that need us! I did say it was big. We’re starting a bit more realistically. We are looking for our farm; not the 400 acre one, but a 10 -15 acre one upon which we can help one animal at a time.

You’d think this would be an easier task, but it’s really not. So much for Sundance depends on where and what the farm is ~ will we have safe land for the animals to graze on? Will we be close enough to an area where I can help people without driving more than an hour for a visit? Will we have any fencing or barns or even sheds, or will all of that have to come first? So many questions roam around in my head as we look at Zillow posting after Zillow posting. I know we’ll find it. I know that this is just the beginning of the journey, and as so many memes tell us these days, the journey, not the destination, is life. I know these things. But, gezz, I really want to find our farm! I’ll keep you posted. 😊
